Yes, at last!--here is Gekkani's Naoe/Takaya request for the drabble meme. I think I would have been rather disappointed if no one had requested a Naoe/Takaya, but at the same time, I was seriously stuck for ideas. I couldn't find many gaps in the canon I'm familiar with where I could have inserted a story, so this one is set in the distant future. I hope it's an acceptable offering. ^^;; BeaconTue, Apr. 28th, 2009, 08:57 pm Yes, I’m insane
*takes deep breath* Okay! Since ad_exia is so graciously agreeing to my request for a drabble, I'm going to give this meme a try as well! The first TEN people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of any pairing/character of their choosing from me.1 In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level. If you absolutely can't write, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to offer drawings or icons or something instead.21 Er, make those characters I'm actually familiar with, please? XD 2 You're exempt from the return requirement. Unless you want to do something. :D Any takers?- Harry/Snape from

Strangely enough, I've been on a coding spree lately (as if I don't write enough during the day, hahah). I blame most of it on jQuery, which I'm falling fast for, because it makes working with Javascript fun instead of torturous. Amazing. Anyway, something else I've been playing around with: a graphical version of the Mirage timeline, using Exhibit Timeline. Now that I have it working, though, I find that the interface leaves much to be desired. Obviously it wasn't designed for that many "events", for example. So...what would make this thing useful? Being able to filter events (say, people connected with the Otate no Ran)? I'd love to get differently-colored lines, but Exhibit is notorious for being style-unfriendly, gah. Well, hacking the core is always an option. What do you think? |
